Outreach Drafts
Generating a draft
On a qualified, non-disqualified prospect that has a contact email on file, click Generate outreach draft. This is a real AI call that produces a draft email and immediately submits it for approval — it does not send anything and does not approve anything on its own.
If you see "Add a contact email before generating an outreach draft," that's exactly what it means — add one on the prospect (or find one via Find a contact, if a provider is connected) first.
Only owners and admins can generate drafts.
What context the draft uses
The draft is generated from:
- Your Business Profile (company description, tone of voice, AI-operating constraints)
- The Offer recommended by the prospect's latest qualification
- The prospect's own data (company, contact, qualification summary, outreach angle)
- The resolved Sales language for this send (prospect override, or your workspace default) — see Sales Languages
Sender identity
The draft's "From" name is your workspace's own Business Profile company name — resolved fresh at send time, never invented by the AI and never something you type into the draft itself. You cannot change the underlying sender email address; that's a server-configured value set by VRsion Pro. For example, a workspace whose company name is Northwind Studio sends outreach that shows as Northwind Studio <ai@vrsion.pro>.
Recipient binding
A draft is always addressed to the prospect's own stored contact email — nothing in the drafting or approval flow can substitute a different recipient. If the wrong contact is showing, fix the prospect's contact email first, then generate a new draft.
What to review before approving
Every draft needs a careful human read before approval. Check:
- Recipient — is this the right person and email?
- Subject — accurate, not misleading?
- Claims — any factual statements about your product, pricing, timelines, or results that need verifying?
- Pricing — never approve a draft that states pricing you haven't confirmed is correct and current.
- Tone — does it sound like your company?
- Call-to-action — is it something you actually want the prospect to do?
- Language — is it in the language you expect for this prospect? See Sales Languages.
- Signature — does it represent your business correctly?
If a draft contains anything incorrect — a fabricated claim, wrong pricing, an invented result, or the wrong language — reject it and generate a new one rather than editing around it. The product does not currently offer in-place draft editing; a new draft is a new AI call with (ideally) corrected upstream context (Business Profile, Offer, or prospect data).
Draft history
Every draft ever generated for a prospect is kept and shown on that prospect's detail page, along with its current status (pending review, approved, rejected, execution status once sent). Nothing is overwritten — you always have a full history of what was proposed.
Follow-up drafts
If a prospect has had a successful send and enough time has elapsed with no reply-tracking signal either way, the prospect detail page offers Generate follow-up draft under a "Follow-up" section. This is a distinct AI call from the original draft, using the same review/approve/queue path — there is no automatic follow-up sequence.
What's next
A generated draft goes straight to the Approval Center — see Approvals & Sending.
