Sales Languages
VRsion 1 AI distinguishes three separate, independent language concepts. Keeping them apart matters — they are not the same setting.
| Concept | What it controls | Where it's set |
|---|---|---|
| UI / application language | The language of the product's own screens (buttons, labels, navigation) | Not currently configurable per user — this guide describes the English interface. |
| Workspace Sales language | The default language the AI writes qualification explanations and outreach drafts in, for every prospect in this workspace | Business page → "Sales language" field |
| Prospect-specific language | An override for one individual prospect, taking priority over the workspace default | The prospect's Language override field, set when creating the prospect |
How the language is chosen
For any given qualification or draft, the product resolves the language in this order:
- Prospect language override, if this prospect has one explicitly set.
- Otherwise, the workspace's Sales language, if configured.
- Otherwise, the product writes in English — this is the exact behavior every workspace had before Sales language existed, so nothing changes unless you opt in.
What the product will never do
The Sales language is never inferred from a prospect's country, company name, contact name, or any other signal. If you don't explicitly set a Sales language or a prospect override, the AI will not guess Portuguese for a Portuguese-sounding company, French for a France-based one, or anything similar — it will write in English. Language must always be something a human explicitly chose.
Setting your workspace's Sales language
On the Business page, set "Sales language (e.g. pt-PT, en, fr) — leave empty to keep the current default" to a language code. Leave it empty to keep the current (English) behavior.
Setting a per-prospect override
When creating a prospect, use the "Language override (optional — e.g. pt-PT, en, fr)" field. Leave it empty to use your workspace's default.
Worked example
Workspace Sales language: pt-PT
| Prospect | Override | Language actually used |
|---|---|---|
| Prospect A | none | Portuguese (workspace default, pt-PT) |
| Prospect B | fr | French (prospect override wins) |
| Prospect C | en | English (prospect override wins) |
Where this applies
The resolved language governs both the qualification's written explanation (summary, reasons, risks, outreach angle) and the outreach draft's subject and body — never just one or the other.
Reviewing language before you generate
Since language is set before you generate a draft (on the Business page or the prospect itself), check it's correct at that point. If a draft comes out in the wrong language, don't try to fix the text by hand — correct the workspace Sales language or the prospect's language override, then generate a fresh draft.
